About

CrossFit Gwinnett (CFG) started 2010 in the garage of Steve Platek and Austen Krill. We started small, training students and faculty from Georgia Gwinnett College (where we both work/teach), but then we grew steadily – training people from our subdivision and folks that stumbled upon our Facebook page. In February of 2012, as the CrossFit Games and CrossFit Reebok partnership drove CrossFit into the public eye, we decided to partner with world class trainers and athletes Caleb and Kelly Williams of Peak Performance Weightlifting in Buford to better serve our fitness community.

We maintain a strong and active relationship with the Gwinnett community through various fundraising efforts such as Paint Georgia Pink, Deadlift for Dollars, Barbells for Boobs, Burpees for Balls, and the annual Murph Challenge for the Navy Seals Foundation.

We are dedicated to bringing fitness results to everyone from soccer moms to elite level athletes and will work hard to help you attain your goal whether that be competition, weight loss, or general fitness in a non-intimidating environment. We make every effort to make people feel welcome and comfortable regardless of skill and/or strength level. Everyone can participate!
